Students and faculty must comply with the requirements of clinical facilities, both on and off campus, regarding immunizations. Documentation of all required immunizations must be provided prior to placement with a clinical facility. If documentation cannot be provided, the student or faculty member must receive the appropriate vaccination(s), titer(s) or tuberculin skin test(s) before visiting the facility.
Proof of immunity is mandated with rare exceptions, and exemptions may be granted only if there is a documented medical reason, such as pregnancy, allergy or a life-threatening reaction.
Immunization requirements for each program are provided after a student has been accepted into the clinical portion of a program of study.
NOTE: The general immunization checklist applies to the following programs: Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Mammography, Nursing, Pharmacy Technology and Radiography.
Other Health Sciences programs require additional vaccinations or tests for their clinical studies. Check individual program admissions pages for more information.
