The Tutoring and Learning Center (TLC) offers Wake Tech students free tutoring and learning support for their classes. The TLC's mission is to help students understand what they are learning in class, develop the skills they need to be successful in college and the workplace and empower them to be independent learners.
Research shows that students who take advantage of tutoring support tend to perform better on tests and in their classes overall. Visiting the TLC also offers the following benefits:

Tutoring sessions are offered on campus and online by faculty teaching the classes or by professional faculty tutors. Students may work one-on-one with a tutor, join a small group session or sign up for a workshop review session. Assistance is available in seven areas:
