Wake Tech golfer Scott Colley will transfer and play golf at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke this fall. A star player on the inaugural Wake Tech golf team, Colley tied for 6th place in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division 1 Championship in Huntsville, Alabama in May. He also earned second-team All-American, a first for any Wake Tech athlete.

Mulkey shared the story of her success today at the Cardinal Club in Raleigh, part of the inaugural event for the Wake Tech/Wachovia Wells Fargo Center for Entrepreneurship.
Robert Kimball, mathematics instructor at Wake Technical Community College, has been awarded the 2010 Teaching Excellence Award by the North Carolina Mathematics Association of Two Year Colleges (NCMATYC). This is the first Teaching Excellence Award ever bestowed by the NCMATYC.
