Wake Tech WARN is the official emergency alert system of the college used to distribute critical emergency information.

In the event of an emergency or inclement weather situation, Wake Tech WARN allows the college to notify students, faculty and staff by:

  • Email
  • SMS Text Message
  • Voice Message

Current students and employees are automatically members and will receive Wake Tech WARN messages via their Wake Tech email. To receive emergency notifications by phone, students and employees must update their WARN profile in InformaCast using their Wake Tech email. To receive text alerts, add your mobile number under the SMS option. Parents and community members can also register for Wake Tech WARN alerts.
