Computed Tomography
The Computed Tomography Technology curriculum prepares the individual to use specialized equipment to visualize cross-sectional anatomical structures and aid physicians in the demonstration of pathologies and disease processes.
Dental Assisting
Learn to assist the dentist in the delivery of dental treatment. Function as an integral member the dental team while performing chairside and related office and laboratory procedures.
Dental Hygiene
The Dental Hygiene curriculum provides individuals with the knowledge and skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate dental hygiene care for the individual and the community.
Health & Fitness Science
The Health & Fitness Science program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary for employment in the fitness and exercise industry.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Mammography
Wake Tech’s Mammography program is a two-semester certificate program. It is offered to ARRT registered radiologic technologists and radiography students.
Medical Assisting
The Medical Assisting curriculum prepares multi-skilled health care professionals qualified to perform administrative, clinical, and laboratory procedures.
Medical Laboratory Technology
MLTs perform tests that help physicians diagnose, monitor, and treat disease. They can determine the cause of an infection and use sophisticated equipment to analyze blood’s chemical components (like glucose and cholesterol).
Neurodiagnostic Technology
Neurodiagnostic technology is the scientific field devoted to the recording and study of the electrical activity of the brain and nervous system. Technologists record electrical in the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, somatosensory or motor nerve systems.
Pharmacy Technology
The Pharmacy Technology Program prepares individuals to become pharmacy technicians. These allied health professionals assist and support licensed pharmacists in providing prescription medications, and other health care products and services for patients.
Radiography
The Radiography curriculum prepares the graduate to be a radiographer, a skilled health care professional who uses radiation to produce images of the human body. The radiographer must be committed to professional development and the care of others.
Respiratory Therapy
Improve someone's life by helping them breathe easy. Respiratory therapists are essential health care providers for people with respiratory conditions and provide critical care in emergencies.
Social & Human Services
The Social & Human Services curriculum prepares students for entry-level positions in institutions and agencies that provide social, community and educational services.
Sonography
The Medical Sonography Program is a 21-month program offering an Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree.

Wake Tech academic programs (credit and non-credit) that are designed to lead to professional licenses are tied to North Carolina or national certifications.
