Wake Tech President Dr. Scott Ralls has been appointed to a federal telecommunications cross-agency working group that will collaborate to identify the current and future needs of the telecommunications industry workforce.

Dr. Scott Ralls, president of Wake Tech Community College, is proud to announce 1,652 students made the President’s List or Dean’s List for the Fall 2021 semester.

Wake Tech welcomed nearly 20,000 degree-seeking students on the first day of the spring semester.

With the sudden onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020 and the rapid transition of all Wake Tech’s instruction and services to virtual/online platforms, the college was concerned that student access and success would decline.
