The Business Analyst Certificate is designed to reinforce and advance analytics skills and application. Students will build and validate predictive models that will help guide decision makers, as well as be able to analyze complex data using modern analytics tools and methods.
The certificate includes the last five Business Analytics courses: BAS-221, BAS-230, BAS-240, BAS-250 and BAS-270, for a total of 15 credits. Credits earned in the program may be transferred toward an AAS degree in Business Analytics.
Courses are offered in online and and a mix of online and in-person formats.
The Business Intelligence certificate must be completed before beginning courses in the Business Analyst certificate.
Students may complete the certificate under an accelerated program model, which allows them to finish courses in an eight-week format.
The accelerated program is recommended for individuals who have previous higher education experience, have completed the necessary prerequisites and can commit the time to succeed in a fast-paced learning environment. Students are strongly encouraged to speak to a faculty advisor or the program director before registering for this option.
