The SunTrust Center for Financial Education at Wake Tech is celebrating the success of its inaugural campaign to improve financial literacy. Today’s celebration, in the Student Services Building on Wake Tech’s main campus, included students, college faculty and administrators, and the community.

More than 350 middle and high school students put their math skills to the test today at Wake Tech’s Main Campus. The 22nd annual Regional Math Contest, hosted by Wake Tech’s Mathematics and Physics Department.
Wake Tech Community College partnered with U.S. Senator Kay Hagan to host the "Back-to-Work North Carolina Jobs Fair" today. Nearly 100 employers with current job openings participated, and more than 1,000 job seekers attended to network with industry reps, distribute resumes, and scout out opportunities.
Adults currently in the process of taking the GED exam should be aware that major changes in store for next year could affect their ability to complete the exam as planned. The current five-part GED exam will be replaced at the end of 2013 with a new assessment.
Wake Tech is on the grid – with a new solar array demonstrating the college’s longstanding commitment to students and to environmental responsibility. More than 1300 solar panels have been installed on the roof of Wake Tech’s Public Safety Education Campus, on Chapanoke Road in Raleigh.
Celebrate Wake Tech’s 50th anniversary with a Triangle tradition! The college’s annual Culinary Arts Showcase returns to the Raleigh Convention Center on Tuesday, April 30 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. This year’s theme is Golden Moments in recognition of Wake Tech’s 50thanniversary.
