Due to icy roads, all Wake Tech campuses remain closed Friday. In-person classes are canceled, but online classes continue as scheduled. Students can still register for eight-week courses, and prospective students can apply online. Many Wake Tech services are available virtually. Employees who can work remotely should do so.
The Plumbing curriculum is designed to give individuals the opportunity to acquire basic skills to assist with the installation and repairs of plumbing systems in residential and small buildings.
The Plumbing AHR certificate is designed to give individuals the opportunity to acquire basic skills in plumbing, air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration. Completion of this certificate will provide a better understanding and knowledge to assist with the installation and repairs of HVACR and plumbing systems in residential and small commercial buildings.
The Plumbing Applications certificate curriculum is designed to cover general plumbing layout, fixtures and water heaters. Students will be introduced to the North Carolina State Building Plumbing Code and the math applications used in the plumbing industry.
The Plumbing Concepts certificate is designed to give individuals the opportunity to acquire basic skills to assist with the installation and repairs of plumbing systems in residential and small commercial buildings.
