College Closed Thursday

Due to inclement weather, all Wake Tech campuses are closed Thursday. In-person classes are canceled, but online classes continue as scheduled. Many Wake Tech services are available virtually. Employees who can work remotely should do so. Only essential personnel should come to campus with the approval of their supervisor.

Plumbing Concepts Certificate

Wake Tech Course ID: C35300D

The Plumbing Concepts certificate is designed to give individuals the opportunity to acquire basic skills to assist with the installation and repairs of plumbing systems in residential and small buildings.

Course work includes sketching diagrams, interpretation of blueprints, and practices in plumbing assembly. Students will gain additional knowledge of State Codes and requirements.

Graduates should qualify for employment at parts supply houses, and for entry-level positions with maintenance companies and plumbing contractors to assist with various plumbing applications
