Wake Tech offers hundreds of short-term, non-degree courses in IT, health care, hospitality, skilled trades and other areas to get you into the workforce quickly. Other non-degree programs include small-business support, personal enrichment courses, English as a Second Language, high school equivalency preparation and more.
Choose your path from one of the following six categories, each of which offers new areas to explore. You can then narrow your search through the array of subcategories. Once you get to your course, the "Overview" button will provide more specific information about it. If you're ready to enroll, click "Register" and follow these steps.
SMALL-BUSINESS SUPPORT
The Entrepreneurship & Small Business Center helps Wake County residents start and build businesses. Its services are free.
WORKFORCE TRAINING
Upgrade your workforce skills for your current career or prepare for industry-recognized credentials, certifications and licenses.
PERSONAL ENRICHMENT
Learn a new language or skill. Get creative. Pursue your interests, or try something you've never done before.
ESL
Learn English as a Second Language, with a focus on college and career readiness skills.
ADULT EDUCATION
Earn your Adult High School diploma, prepare for a high school equivalency test and transition into post-secondary education and/or employment.
CURSOS EN ESPAÑOL
Wake Tech offers vocational education courses in Spanish for those interested in learning a new trade or improving their job skills.
