CCP Admissions, Advising and Registration
Career & College Promise staff can help both new and continuing CCP students through admissions and advising appointments during which students can ask questions about status updates, pathway options, course descriptions, direct placement and more.
New ninth- and 10th-grade students who have been approved for a College Transfer pathway are required to schedule an academic advising appointment before being cleared to register for courses.
In addition to online appointments, advisors are available at the following locations for in-person meetings, and no appointment is needed:
Southern Wake Campus
Building L, Room 121
Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Scott Northern Wake Campus
Building B, Room 225
Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
How to register for classes
Self-registration for Summer 2023 and Fall 2023 begins at 7 a.m. on April 13. Remember to check the Important Dates and Deadlines list throughout the process to make sure you don't miss anything.
As outlined in the Course Registration Onboarding, CCP students are allowed to take only courses within their approved pathway(s), as well as within the confines of allowed credits and program-specific restrictions. Students who register for courses outside of their approved pathways will be dropped from those courses.
Course Request forms are available from CCP staff for any student who wants or needs to add classes after the self-registration period has ended. Submitting the form does not guarantee enrollment in a course, however. Students will be notified if their request is approved.
