The college is closed December 21 through January 1 for winter break and will reopen January 2. Prospective students can still apply for enrollment online during the break, and continuing students can register for Spring semester classes.
The Tutoring and Learning Center (TLC) provides support in understanding class lectures, help with studying and note-taking and assistance in developing a plan to attack a fact-based class with lots of information in the following subjects:
Students can use the TLC's collection of anatomical models to reinforce laboratory concepts in biological classes.
Understanding how to study is a necessary part of being successful in college classes, so TLC tutors work with students to build study skills for their specific science courses. Students may sign up for one-on-one sessions, small-group sessions or large-group workshops.
Science tutoring is available both in person and online, and some campuses accept walk-ins. Check the main TLC page for operating hours on each campus.
NOTE: If you need additional tutoring support when the ILC is closed, try the free tutors Wake Tech provides through ThinkingStorm.
To schedule a TLC tutoring session, select the campus that's most convenient for you.
