Wake Tech's Spring graduation ceremonies are set for 8 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday on Scott Northern Wake Campus. Family and friends unable to attend in person can watch the ceremonies live online.
The Adult High School and High School Equivalency programs will hold their graduation ceremony at 8 p.m. Saturday on Scott Northern Wake Campus. Family and friends can watch it live online as well.
The Welding Technology Certificate program includes an introduction to consumable and non-consumable electrode welding and cutting processes.
Additional courses in blueprint reading, metallurgy and destructive testing provides industry-standard skills developed through classroom training and practical application.
Graduates of the certificate program may be employed as entry-level technicians in the welding and metalworking industries. Career opportunities also exist in construction, manufacturing, fabrication, sales, quality control and welding-related self-employment.
