College Closed Due To Weather

Due to the forecast of inclement weather, all Wake Tech campuses closed at 2 p.m. Friday and will be closed all day Saturday. In-person classes are canceled, but online classes continue as scheduled. Students needing assistance can check out the Virtual Support Center.

Architectural Building Design Certificate

The Architectural Building Design Certificate is a higher second-year certificate that demonstrates students’ skills and knowledge as it relates to basic building design concepts. Students learn to apply skills from environmental systems ranging from mechanical, electrical and plumbing to sustainable design strategies to architectural structures, site planning and building codes.

Students will complete a final design project as part of this certificate to demonstrate a competition of understanding and knowledge of basic architectural design systems.
