The Bookkeeping Certificate program prepares students for job opportunities in the area of small-business accounting.
QuickBooks, Excel and Payroll office technology skills are part of the program, as is the study of general business knowledge and recordkeeping skills.
Required courses are ACC-120, -132, -140, -149, -150 and -180 and BUS-121.
Credits earned in the program may be transferred toward an Accounting & Finance AAS Degree, provided the student meets the entrance requirements for that program.
Graduates should qualify for entry-level accounting positions in accounting firms, small businesses, manufacturing firms, banks, hospitals, school systems and governmental agencies.
