The college is closed December 21 through January 1 for winter break and will reopen January 2. Prospective students can still apply for enrollment online during the break, and continuing students can register for Spring semester classes.
Foundation scholarships make pursuing an education affordable for many and enables Wake Tech to attract and retain talented students. During the 2022-23 school year, 1,646 students were awarded scholarships.
Scholarships may be designated to assist certificate, diploma or associate degree students in any curriculum program and may be based on financial need or academic merit, according to donor preference. Donors may establish an endowment or fund a scholarship annually to acknowledge student needs or accomplishments, honor or memorialize someone or create a corporate presence at Wake Tech.
Wake Tech also offers scholarship opportunities through the Financial Aid Office.
"The extra time this scholarship will give me will allow me to spend more time with my daughter, and for this alone, I cannot thank all of you enough because she is the reason I try as hard as I do to be the best person I can be."
– Logan Hukill, scholarship recipient
