February 2025: This month, we celebrate Kim and Timothy Humphrey for their generous support of Wake Tech! Most recently, they committed $40,000 to the Reach Partners Program, as well as a planned gift to establish the Humphrey Family Endowed Reach Scholarships. In honor of their contributions, the Kim and Tim Humphrey Engineering Lab at Wake Tech East will be named for them! The Reach Partners Program acknowledges the strength and resilience of Wake Tech's partner organizations and the youth they serve. Wake Tech has formed working relationships with more than 20 well-known community groups in our region, such as the Boys & Girls Clubs of Wake County, The Hope Center at Pullen and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle, to make an education possible for everyone. These partnerships will allow the organizations to align those they serve with Wake Tech training and provide an educational pathway to living-wage employment and careers. Thank you, Kim and Tim, for your kind and generous spirit! Your dedication to Wake Tech and our students will leave a lasting legacy.
