The Pharmacy Technology Bridge is an accelerated associate degree program for experienced pharmacy technicians who wish to pursue an academic program comprised of general education courses as well as pharmacy technician basics.
The associate degree also offers options to individuals who plan to use it as the foundation for further education. The program strives to balance technical training and classroom instruction to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the needs and goals established by the pharmacy profession.
The Bridge program is fully online, which ensures that any technician can enroll, no matter their shift schedule or location. Students who are nationally certified with at least one year of experience within the last three years will receive 35 credits toward an associate degree.
All applicants must complete the following requirements:
Submit the Pharmacy Bridge Program application to Perry Health Sciences Campus admissions and academic advisors at [email protected] for Fall semester entry. Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Students also must attend a mandatory departmental orientation. They cannot register for Pharmacy Technology courses until they have been accepted into the program.
