The college is closed December 21 through January 1 for winter break and will reopen January 2. Prospective students can still apply for enrollment online during the break, and continuing students can register for Spring semester classes.
NOTE: Wake Tech is discontinuing the Medical Assisting AAS program, so no new applicants can be accepted. Current students can complete their studies or transition to the Medical Assisting Diploma or another program.
Students who have successfully completed the one-year Medical Assisting Diploma can choose to continue their education by completing the Medical Assisting Associate of Applied Science Degree. The degree program is designed for medical assistants who desire an associate degree for career advancement or transfer purposes.
