Wake Tech also offers more than a dozen non-degree health-related training programs.
Clinical agencies have mandated that students, faculty and staff provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination to participate in clinical training. Although Wake Tech has not mandated that students be vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus, we must abide by the mandates of our clinical training partners. Students must show proof of vaccination to be granted access to clinical sites. If a student is denied access, the student will be withdrawn from the program.
This applies to all Health Sciences programs except for Health and Fitness Science and Human Services Technology, since the Work-Based Learning sites utilized by these two programs are not currently requiring proof of vaccination.
Wake Tech academic programs (credit and non-credit) that are designed to lead to professional licenses are tied to North Carolina or national certifications. If you intend to pursue professional licenses outside North Carolina once you have completed your academic program at Wake Tech, please refer to the Professional Licensure section of the college's distance education authorization page for additional information.
