Wake Tech is closed Friday in observance of Good Friday. Prospective students can still apply online, and current and new students can register for Summer and Fall classes. The college will reopen at 8 a.m. Monday.
Wake Tech Community College today became the first community college in North Carolina – and one of the first in the country – to launch a Massive Open Online Course, or MOOC. The MOOC format is intended for large-scale participation and offers open access to higher education via the web.

Wake Tech Community College partnered with U.S. Senator Kay Hagan to host the "Back-to-Work North Carolina Jobs Fair" today. Nearly 100 employers with current job openings participated, and more than 1,000 job seekers attended to network with industry reps, distribute resumes, and scout out opportunities.
