Wake Tech hosted a special event today to allow staff member Garion Bunn to discuss his brand new book, The Harry Experience, with students from several business classes and colleagues.
Wake Tech marked September 11 with special tributes at three of its campuses. At the Public Safety Education Campus, law enforcement officials, members of the military, and other first responders honored the heroes and victims of that day with a special ceremony.
The National Science Foundation has awarded Wake Technical Community College $47,160 to improve STEM education, and two associate professors in geoscience have been chosen for the project: Adrianne Leinbach and Gretchen Miller will participate in Faculty as Change Agents: Transforming Geoscience Education in Two-year Colleges.
