Disability Support Services (DSS) provides support and assistance to faculty members in their efforts to make courses accessible to all students.

Professional development services

To request a DSS speaker on topics of interest to your department or division, submit a DSS Presentation Request form 14 business days in advance.

To request video captioning for students who require it, submit a Faculty Captioning Request form. These requests may take several weeks to complete, depending on demand.

Wake Tech attempts to make all learning experiences as accessible as possible. If you anticipate or experience academic barriers based on your documented disability, including any physical, psychological, learning, chronic or temporary medical condition, contact DSS to discuss options confidentially.
