Transfer Courses and Requirements

The information on this page should help you plan the courses you need to take to complete your degree at Wake Tech while maximizing the credits you transfer upon graduation.

Statewide transfer agreements contain a comprehensive list of community college courses that transfer to UNC System schools and independent colleges and universities. The courses you choose to take at Wake Tech should meet both of the following sets of requirements:

  • The requirements of the associate degree you are pursuing at Wake Tech
  • The requirements of the baccalaureate degree plan for the university and the degree you plan to pursue when you transfer. Transfer degree plans for UNC System institutions are located on the Search by University page.

All of the following general education and elective courses offered at Wake Tech are considered transfer courses.

Courses marked with an * are elective courses and cannot be used to satisfy the general education requirements.

Courses marked with an S are traditionally for Associate in Science students. Associate in Arts and Associate in Fine Arts students should speak with an advisor before taking these courses.
