Wake Tech's Spring graduation ceremonies are set for 8 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday on Scott Northern Wake Campus. Family and friends unable to attend in person can watch the ceremonies live online.
The Adult High School and High School Equivalency programs will hold their graduation ceremony at 8 p.m. Saturday on Scott Northern Wake Campus. Family and friends can watch it live online as well.
The Mechanical Analysis and Design II Certificate builds on the Mechanical Analysis and Design Certificate and includes coursework in engineering materials, strength of materials, safety and solid modeling, using SolidWorks software.
Some courses in the program have one or more prerequisites.
Overall, the Mechanical Engineering Technology curriculum prepares students for employment as mechanical engineering technicians. Students learn the skills needed to assist with designing, developing, prototyping, testing, manufacturing, maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment.
