Advanced PLC Programming Certificate

The Advanced PLC Programming Certificate provides the student with enhanced technical skills and knowledge necessary to work with the programmable logic controllers (PLCs). An emphasis is placed on programming techniques, networking, specialty I/O modules, system troubleshooting and the integration of PLCs with various SCADA and DCS software packages.

Upon completion, students should be able to specify, implement and maintain complex PLC-controlled systems. Students entering the program are expected to have a basic knowledge of PLC ladder logic and PLC wiring.
