Wake Tech resumes normal operations on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. Campuses reopen at 8 a.m., and most classes are held as scheduled.
Building H on Scott Northern Wake Campus is without power and will remain closed until power is restored. Students with classes in Building H should check with their instructors for more information.
The Cybersecurity AAS Degree equips students with the knowledge and hands-on experience to protect computers, networks and data from cyber threats.
Courses cover network technologies and operating systems, ethical hacking and digital forensics, information security policy and intrusion detection, security administration and industry best practices. Students work in Windows and Linux operating systems.
