Wake Tech resumes normal operations on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. Campuses reopen at 8 a.m., and most classes are held as scheduled.
Building H on Scott Northern Wake Campus is without power and will remain closed until power is restored. Students with classes in Building H should check with their instructors for more information.
The Fuel Injection, Electrical and Electronics Certificate provides individuals the knowledge and skills to troubleshoot and repair fuel injection, electrical and electronic systems in dozers, scrapers, loaders and forklifts.
Course work includes the theory of operations, troubleshooting techniques and repair procedures for electrical and electronic systems, as well as fuel injection systems.
Graduates should qualify for entry-level employment opportunities at businesses that repair construction equipment. Entry and advancement levels depend on the amount of training completed, knowledge and ability levels, work performance and ethics.
