Wake Tech Unveils New, Improved Website
RALEIGH, N.C. (August 23, 2017) - Wake Tech’s official website, waketech.edu, gets more than 1.6 million hits every month – and starting today, all those visitors will see something new! The site has been completely redesigned and rebuilt to offer easier navigation and greater responsiveness on mobile devices.
The fresh, new look includes bold infographics that highlight important landing pages and guide users to the information they seek. The site is now database driven, so information can be sorted and viewed in a variety of ways, according to user preference. There’s also a new Help Center, with a convenient tool for reporting any problems or issues.
The website was last revamped in 2013 with the help of a local digital marketing firm. This newest iteration of waketech.edu was completed entirely in-house by Wake Tech’s Communications and IT departments. They worked collaboratively and incorporated input gathered from the college community through surveys, focus groups, and interviews.
