Registration Now Open for Wake Tech Summer Camps
Editor's note: Wake Tech no longer offers summer camps.
RALEIGH, N.C. (January 30, 2020) - Want to assemble robots, learn the basics of biotechnology, or whip up yummy coffee creations?
Registration is now open for Wake Tech’s 13 fun summer camps that will allow pre-teens and teens the chance to explore different topics while giving them the opportunity to grow and meet new friends.
“There’s more than enough to excite and inspire young minds,” said Courtney Boney, instructional supervisor who oversees summer camps at Wake Tech. “Campers can explore their interests, develop new skills, and consider their options for the future.”
New camps this year are Cake Decorating 2: Intermediate; Barista & Customer Service Training; and Pins & Needles: Intro to Sewing.
Each camp is developed for specific grade or age levels, ranging from 11 to 17, and space is limited.
Camps begin the week of June 15 and run through the week of Aug. 3 and are hosted at various Wake Tech campuses. Camp costs vary, and scholarships are available for select camps.
