The Advanced Accounting Core Certificate expands students' knowledge in core accounting concepts.
Required courses are ACC-120, -129, -220, -221 and -269.
Credits earned in the program may be transferred toward an Accounting & Finance AAS Degree, provided the student meets the entrance requirements for that program. Credits also may count toward additional Accounting courses required by a master's degree program at some universities.
Graduates should qualify for entry-level accounting positions in accounting firms, small businesses, manufacturing firms, banks, hospitals, school systems and governmental agencies.
