College Closed Wednesday

Due to the forecast of inclement weather, all Wake Tech campuses will be closed Wednesday. In-person classes are canceled, but online classes continue as scheduled. Students can still register for eight-week courses, and prospective students can apply online. Many Wake Tech services are available virtually. Employees who can work remotely should do so.

The Energy, Sustainability and Transportation (EST) team works to help the college achieve a better and cleaner future through energy efficiency, sustainable practices and improved mobility choices.

  • New technologies and practices are implemented to lower energy use.
     
  • Programs are developed to help create a culture of sustainability across the college.
     
  • Partnerships are formed to ensure different transportation choices are available to the Wake Tech community that fit everyone's needs.
