The Gregory Poole Construction Equipment Company, the exclusive Caterpillar dealer for eastern North Carolina, has apprenticeship opportunities for students who want to work on construction equipment. Students attend class at Wake Tech two days a week until they earn a diploma in Construction Equipment Systems Technology and work at Gregory Poole headquarters in Raleigh three days a week, earning a paycheck and building on their their classroom learning until they obtain a Journeyworker certificate.
