The college is closed December 21 through January 1 for winter break and will reopen January 2. Prospective students can still apply for enrollment online during the break, and continuing students can register for Spring semester classes.
The Business Administration: General Business curriculum introduces students to the free enterprise system and the fundamentals of core business functions and processes. The program focuses on the unique factors that prepare students for entrepreneurial ventures and business success in today’s global economy. Courses include business concepts in accounting, business law, economics, management, and marketing. Students learn how to apply these concepts through the study of computer literacy, effective communication, problem solving, team-building, and decision-making.
The Business Administration: Human Resources Management Associate in Applied Science degree introduces students to the free enterprise system. It also covers the fundamentals of core business functions and processes, such as managing people and executing the human resources management function.
The Business Administration: Marketing AAS Degree is designed to meet the demands of government agencies, financial institutions, and business and industry, from small to large. The program helps students develop skills in advertising and sales, marketing research and applications, social media marketing, and consumer behavior, as well as core business concepts. Students learn how to apply these concepts through the study of computer literacy, communication, team building, and decision-making.
The Business Administration: Project Management degree is designed to provide students with the knowledge and the skills necessary for employment and advancement in the growing field of project management. Students learn to define, initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and control all aspects of a given project to bring the project to a positive end. Students will study accounting, finance, economics, business ethics, and human capital management. After completing this program, students should be able to apply their skills to the principals and practices aligned with the Project Management Institute. The curriculum is designed with a mix of theory and practical application that aligns itself with government, industry, and entrepreneurship.
The Advertising and Digital Media Certificate program provides instruction on advertising communication, marketing strategy and other general digital media design principles. Focusing on digital and social media concepts, this certificate prepares students for careers in digital and social media marketing and advertising.
The Business Administration Core provides instruction on principles of management, micro and macro economics and other topics.
The Leadership Certificate program provides instruction on management, human resources and business ethics.
The Business Administration Career Success Certificate provides instruction on people skills, personal finance and more.
This certificate program provides instruction on entrepreneurship principles and marketing.
The Human Resources Administration Certificate program provides instruction on customer and client, business communication and other human resource management topics.
The Human Resources Management Certificate program provides instruction on employment law, training, development, recruitment and other HR management topics.
The Marketing and Sales Certificate program offers instruction on marketing, social media, advertising, and other topics.
The Project Management Certificate may be completed over two semesters, and some courses are offered in the eight-week "mini-mester."
