Wake Tech Showcases Delicious Dishes With Short, Simple Videos
RALEIGH, N.C. (May 23, 2016) – Drawing from the popularity of BuzzFeed’s Tasty, Tastemade, and Foodbeast, Wake Tech is delighted to begin offering a new feature called “Bake Tech!” The short videos, which average a minute in length, will cater to home cooks. The goal of the videos is to bring awareness to Wake Tech’s Baking and Pastry Arts program while giving options for meals and meal prep that are easy and fun!
The first video premiered today, just in time for Memorial Day weekend. Additional videos will be posted periodically. To view the videos, visit Facebook.com/waketechcc.
Wake Tech’s Baking and Pastry Arts program will move from Main Campus to the Northern Wake Campus in the fall. The program prepares students for quick entry into the industry. With experience, graduates may advance from entry-level positions to pastry chef, cake designer, or bakery manager. Employment opportunities include restaurants, hotels, independent bakeries and pastry shops, wholesale and retail markets, and high-volume bakeries. The program also provide students with the skills and knowledge to start their own businesses.
