Description
Student Money Management is currently seeking to fill 3 volunteer positions in our Student Ambassador Program.
SMM Ambassador Program was created to extend the reach of the Student Money Management Program through the use SMM Ambassadors. SMM Ambassador will include Wake Tech student volunteers. There will be a mandatory training for students. Training will include a 2-hour session that will cover the theoretical foundation of the delivery of financial education as well as hands-on application.
SMM Ambassadors must:
- Enrolled in a Wake Tech course(s) during each semester of service
- Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0 at time of application.
- Possess an interest in helping students.
- Be passionate about financial education
- Be compassionate when dealing with student’s financial information
- Observe an SMM presentation/workshop and coaching session
- Attend a two-hour, train-the-trainer session
SMM Ambassadors may participate in the following activities:
- Attending tabling events and other functions to represent SMM
- Attending SMM Advisory Team meetings
- Assisting with social media and other advertisement activities
- Promoting the SMM resource
