The online Residential Interior Design Education (R.I.D.E.) training program is for new, aspiring interior designers as well as established ones who want to augment their education, add credentials, and expand their career opportunities and professional status. The program provides the basic skills and background necessary for working as an interior home designer, and the R.I.D.E. credential can provide a competitive edge. Students will explore the fundamentals of professional design, learn how to plan spaces that are both visually appealing and functional, and learn how interior design has evolved through history. R.I.D.E. includes an education on ethics that can be applied to a designer or design practice to improve marketability in the industry. Upon completion of the program, students will take the Residential Interior Designer Exam (R.I.D.E.) as a final exam. With R.I.D.E. certification, graduates qualify for a free, one-year Designer Society of America membership and may be eligible for an internship through DSA, along with other benefits.
