Wake Tech's Spring graduation ceremonies are set for 8 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday on Scott Northern Wake Campus. Family and friends unable to attend in person can watch the ceremonies live online.

The Diesel & Heavy Equipment Technology Diploma prepares students for entry-level work repairing medium- and heavy-duty vehicles.
Course work includes the theory of operations, troubleshooting techniques and repair procedures for engines, electrical and hydraulic systems. Other courses cover power trains and brakes.
Graduates should qualify for entry-level employment opportunities at businesses that repair medium- and heavy-duty vehicles. Entry and advancement levels depend on the amount of training completed, knowledge and ability levels, work performance and ethics.
