College to Host Job Fair February 18
RALEIGH, N.C. (February 11, 2025) – Wake Tech, the state's largest community college, is hosting its third-annual Job Fair to recruit full- and part-time faculty and staff to support the college's enrollment growth.
The event will be held February 18 from 2 to 7 p.m. on the Southern Wake Campus, in the Conference Center in Building L.
Wake Tech needs faculty in numerous program areas, such as Biotechnology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Programming and Networking, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, Robotics, English, Humanities, Communications, Math and various sciences. There are also openings in non-degree areas, such as Nurse Aide, various health sciences and skilled trades and English as a Second Language (ESL).
The college is also seeking staff for numerous departments, including Academic Advising, Admissions, Athletics, Facilities, Financial Aid and Registration & Records.
Hiring managers will be present to meet with candidates, review resumes, and conduct initial interviews. Computers will also be available for job seekers to apply for employment on site and upload resumes for consideration for future vacancies.
Representatives with the nonprofit organization Dress for Success Triangle will have their Mobile Boutique at the event. Women who attend the job fair will have the opportunity to pick out the perfect interview outfit free of charge. Representatives from Wake Tech Career Services will be on hand to provide job search readiness assistance, including career exploration, resume and cover letter writing, interview skill building and job search strategies.
Wake Tech serves more than 72,000 adults annually and offers more than 250 associate degree, diploma and certificate programs that prepare students for university transfer or immediate employment. The college's newest location, Wake Tech East in Wendell, opened last fall.
