Wake Tech closed for Thanksgiving

Wake Tech is closed Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday. Prospective students can still apply online, and current students can register for Spring semester classes. All classes will resume and offices will reopen on Monday morning.

Wake Tech Hosting Two Early Voting Sites

RALEIGH, N.C. (October 2, 2024) – Wake Tech will host two Wake County early voting sites for the November 5 general election.

The early voting sites are:

Early voting runs October 17 to November 2. The sites will be open 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. weekdays, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays and 1 to 6 p.m. Sundays. Voter registration will also be available during early voting.

Voters who cast their ballots in person will be asked to present valid photo identification. Wake Tech students can use their student IDs at the polls as long as it has an expiration date on the back. Students who need a new ID with an expiration date can get one at campus ID offices.

The two Wake Tech sites are among 22 early voting locations planned for Wake County. To learn more, visit the Wake County Board of Elections website.
