The Biotechnology curriculum prepares individuals to apply scientific principles and technical skills in support of biologists and biotechnologists in research, industrial and government settings.

Wake Tech offers two Biotechnology degree tracks: Bioanalytical Lab Technology and Bioprocess Manufacturing Technology. Courses are taught at the Lilly Science and Technology Center on RTP Campus and on Southern Wake Campus.
Graduates can transfer to Campbell University, East Carolina University or North Carolina Central University for further studies. Continuing education opportunities are available through the NC BioNetwork Capstone Center at North Carolina State University.
