Gerontology Certificate

The Gerontology Certificate prepares students to work in settings that focus on services for older adults and their families.

The certificate is designed for individuals who would like additional education on gerontology or who are in professions where they will be exposed to older adults, such as nursing, health care and business.

The curriculum provides both theoretical and applied models for understanding issues of aging.

Individuals with no prior college experience are encouraged to consider the Social & Human Services AAS Degree program.
