The college is closed December 21 through January 1 for winter break and will reopen January 2. Prospective students can still apply for enrollment online during the break, and continuing students can register for Spring semester classes.
Students at Vernon Malone College and Career Academy are trained by Wake Tech instructors. Students learn technical skills and obtain some college credit while earning a high school diploma.
The academy is a partnership between Wake Tech, the Wake County Public School System and Wake County government.
Salon hours
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: Chemical services are at 11:30 a.m., while other services are at 12 p.m. NOTE: The salon is open only when school is in session.
