ID Badges and Parking Decals

  • All curriculum Wake Tech students must have an official, college-issued ID badge.
  • Veteran student ID badges are available
Campus vehicle registration
Sample College ID

Follow these steps to get an ID badge or parking decal:

  1. Complete registration
  2. Pay tuition
  3. Present photo identification (driver's license, passport, military ID, etc.) at one of the offices listed below.
  4. Download, complete and print the vehicle registration form.
  • Students are required to have their vehicle registration cards with them to obtain a Wake Tech parking decal.
  • Gate cards may be obtained at the Perry Health Sciences Campus only.

The following campus services require an ID badge for access and/or use:

  • Tutoring and Learning Center
  • Campus libraries
  • Book purchases with financial aid
  • Challenge exams
  • eLearning Testing Center
  • Wake Tech bus service
  • Student Center
  • Supplemental testing
  • Open computer labs
  • Wake Tech equipment and resources

Also, the North Carolina State Board of Elections has approved the use of Wake Tech student ID badges for voting under the state's voter ID law. Students will be able to show their Wake Tech ID at the polls.
