The college is closed December 21 through January 1 for winter break and will reopen January 2. Prospective students can still apply for enrollment online during the break, and continuing students can register for Spring semester classes.

Wake Tech offers this 20-hour course in either a traditional seated classroom or online, depending on your preferences and availability.
New non-certified substitute teachers within the Wake County Public School System are required to upload to their application documentation showing completion of Substitute Effective Teacher Training or Effective Teacher Training. This is the minimum eligibility requirement to be a substitute teacher.
