Cisco CX Talent Incubation Programs (CTIP) is a talent development pipeline for non traditional candidates interested in developing their networking skills and becoming eligible to interview for the highly technical, client facing role of a Technical Consulting Engineer within Cisco's Customer Experience (CX) organization. The one year program is made up of two phases: Pre Apprenticeship and Apprenticeship.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
To participate in the Pre Apprenticeship phase of the program, candidates must be:
Enrolled in the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) coursework at a registered Cisco Networking Academy (NetAcad) OR have an active CCNA certification
Analytical and have strong technical problem solving skills
Passionate about networking, IT, computer science, or any technical field; and knowledge of adjacent technologies
Able to multi task, work in a dynamic team environment, and work independently
Fluent in English (verbal and written)
To qualify for the Apprenticeship, candidates must also:
Complete the CCNA coursework at a registered Cisco Networking Academy (NetAcad)
Have an active Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) certification for the duration of the Apprenticeship
Demonstrate continuous and self guided learning in a technology field
Have the ability to work full time, remotely (40 hours/week) for 6 months during the advertised apprenticeship dates
Be able to live and work legally in the country for which you are applying, without visa support or sponsorship
