Drive-in Movie at Southern Wake!

On October 17, join us for our annual Wake Tech Drive-in Movie! Step back in time and relive the magic of a classic drive-in movie! Join us for a night of nostalgia, fun, and a fantastic film under the stars.

This event is open to all Wake Tech students and their family and friends! We ask that you bring your Wake Tech ID and check in once you have parked to earn your Talon Tokens! The movie will start at 7:30pm but we highly encourage you to get there early to get a good spot, the parking lot will open at 6:45pm.

FAQs

How many people can I bring? 

How ever many fit in your vehicle! However, as a note, each vehicle MUST have a wake Tech Student in it in order to gain entry to the event.

Will the movie be suitable for all ages? 

The movie is being voted on by our Wake Tech students, so we do not know for sure which movie it will be however, it will be rated PG-13 or under. 

What if the parking lot fills up and we run out of space? 

While this has never happened before, there is always a possibility. If this happens, we will direct cars to park in a different location and we will leave space to the side and the front of the screen for students and families to sit. This will be in the parking lot so we encourage you to bring blankets or chairs to sit on if you are concerned.
