The IT Support Technician Series is designed to give students a strong foundation in information technology (IT). This series includes three key courses: CompTIA Tech (FC0-U71), CompTIA A 220-1201 (Core 1), and CompTIA A 220-1202 (Core 2). It's perfect for anyone looking to begin or advance their career in IT support, combining essential knowledge with hands-on experience.
In CompTIA Tech , students will learn the basics of IT, covering topics like data storage, common devices, networking basics, and simple cybersecurity practices. This foundational knowledge prepares students for CompTIA A Core 1, where they will acquire practical skills for installing and maintaining computer systems. They will also dive into networking fundamentals and learn how to troubleshoot hardware and software problems while developing customer support skills.
The series wraps up with CompTIA A Core 2, which focuses on managing operating systems, troubleshooting more complex issues, and implementing cybersecurity measures. Students will also learn about important procedures, including documentation and incident response. By the end of the series, students will be ready to take industry-recognized certification exams and will have the skills needed to succeed in various entry-level IT support roles.
