Congratulations Graduates!

Wake Tech's Spring graduation ceremonies are set for 8 a.m., 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday on Scott Northern Wake Campus. Family and friends unable to attend in person can watch the ceremonies live online.

The Adult High School and High School Equivalency programs will hold their graduation ceremony at 5:30 p.m. Saturday on Scott Northern Wake Campus. Family and friends can watch it live online as well.

Episode 30: The Meaning of Care at Wake Tech

When life's challenges threaten to derail a students academic endeavors, Wake Tech's Care Center can provide the guidance and resources to help them stay on track to achieve their educational and career goals. The center creates and maintains a circle of student care to clear a path toward success.

Dr. Scott Ralls takes a closer look at the Care Center to unbundle all of the resources the center provides. The Care Center offers Student Success Coaches, emergency aid, Wellness Services, technology and transportation assistance, Student Money Management and The Nest Food Pantry. The Care Center also provides support for Fostering Bright Futures, Wake Tech's unique program to help former foster youth succeed, and Pathways Success Scholars, part of the state's Minority Male Success Initiative.

Hear from Michael Coleman, Wake Tech's dean of Student Support, and Davis Smith, Wake Tech's dean of Academic Advising, to understand why there was a need for the Care Center, how the center is reaching students across the college and where students can go to find the Care Center.
